Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains what cookies are, which types we use at ORRENTO and how you can manage them. It is part of our commitment to transparency and complements the Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, mobile or tablet) when you visit it. They allow us to remember information about your visit, such as keeping you signed in, retaining the contents of your cart or remembering your preferred language.
Technical or essential cookies
- Login and user session: keep your account authenticated while you browse.
- Shopping cart: retain the products you have added to the cart.
- Language preference: the NEXT_LOCALE cookie remembers the selected language (es/pt/en).
- Security: protect the site against unauthorised access and cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks.
These are necessary for the site and the store to work. Without them you cannot browse correctly or complete a purchase. As they are essential, they do not require your consent. Among others, we use:
Analytics and third-party cookies
We currently use only essential technical cookies. If we activate analytics tools in the future (e.g. Google Analytics, Plausible or similar), we will reflect this in this policy and request your consent where the law requires it.
Payment cookies (Stripe)
Payment processing is carried out through Stripe. During the payment process, Stripe may set its own cookies on its domain to ensure the security of the transaction and prevent fraud, in accordance with its own cookie and privacy policy.
How to manage or disable cookies
You can configure, block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Each browser offers its own options (for example, Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge) in its privacy or settings section. Please note that disabling technical cookies may prevent the store from working, such as login, the shopping cart or order checkout.
